Probably our favorite Chinese restaurant in North Vancouver by far. Been here a couple times and we make sure it is on our agenda each time we come through the area. It's been a while since we have visited, might need to make another trip up north pretty soon.
Nice economic congee, rice and Chinese cuisines for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Food was quite good. Staff not the friendliest and the bathroom were dirty.
My favourite place for fried rice and beef and broccoli! The chefs are too shelf but the ladies are super nice and friendly everytime I come here for my pick up order!!
A great choice for dim sum. Fair prices, fast service, decent food, and a friendly and helpful staff. You will be happy with your meal.
Combo C3 posted. Great food, big portions. Fresh tea included. Atmosphere very clean. Great for big group dining as well solo dining. Lots of interesting unique dishes as well traditional favorites.
Food good. Restaurant large, and clean. The shrimp was fantastic! Would get that again.
Food has always been good. That is why we keep coming back. But when the bus boy gets cranky because you haven't left a tip (yet) and then sticks his tongue out at you, it doesn't leave you feeling like EVER coming back.
Food is of decent quality
I had combination A&B and that is honestly good for 2 people! The quality and portion of the food is great.Highly recommended!
Mediocre north american style chinese food and dim sum. Friendly attentive staff
Really good dim sum, reminds me of a place I used to go to when I lived out east. The staff are lovely and the service was quick. If you are looking for a nice little place to get some dim sum look no further!
Delicious food
The food was bland at best. The chicken had a funny texture and was dry and chewy. The beef was also tough and had a funny taste like it had gone bad. A huge waste of money as it was more expensive compared to other so so Chinese restaurants on the North Shore.
The website of this restaurant seems funny. There's no MENU or DELIVERY content. The restaurant owner should look into this matter so as not to mislead visitors. Thanks.
This is probably the best Chinese food on North Shores. Must try their honey ribs~
Great food you must come here authentic Chinese food real wonton soup real lemon chicken so so so good yummy 😋
We waited 2 hours and 40 minutes to get our food( witch was cold and bland) and when the driver finally showed up I noticed they charged $5.00 for over 5km away charge (were only 4.3km from the resturant) and a $5.00 delivery charge so i decided not to tip and when the driver saw that I didn't tip he gave me a dirty look and stomped off like a 12 year old school girl while mumbling something in chinese or whatever the language was he spoke... after reading the reviews it's clear that this restaurant is all about tips. service and quality is clearly not number 1 on the list for these people.. not getting a penny from me again, that's for sure..
Had food delivered and it was nice and warm. Otherwise, fish soup and meal was a bit of a disaster. Most went into the garburator and lots into the garbage. Very disappointed and $80 down the drain.
Lunch specials and many dishes are great.Definitely cannot recommend the dim sum however, the dumplings are definitely from the freezer and don't taste good. Specific the sui mai(pork dumpling) are barely edible. I've given the dim sum 3 tries and it's three strikes.
Excellent house made dishes. The wontons and dumplings are authentic, the duck is great and the service is excellent. Not sure why it took so long for me to come here.
Great Chinese food! Even to Richmond restaurant standards; for example, the sweet and sour chicken was made of moist large pieces of chicken, perfectly cooked in a quality sauce that had great flavour, without being over powering like at most Chinese restaurants. Noodles, fried rice, and beef and broccoli were all top notch quality. We got take it, and the spring rolls were still hot and crispy, impressive. Everything was still hot, which means it's prepared fresh to order, definitely tasted fresh! We ate it all, and did not feel thirsty from the MSG or sick from any excess oil (typical for Chinese food), so they have done a great job by using quality ingredients and not taking any shortcuts.Great service and prices to boot!Parking lot of big, and spacious, a huge plus. This is a North Vancouver gem.Highly recommended!Keep it the good work.
Great food and great service. Would recommend anyone to check them out. Bring your appetite
Excellent food and service; great atmosphere
It was super delicious food at Jade Garden Kitchen. We had shrimps with veggies and this yummy spicy eggplant with pork.
I kind of forgot reviews are a thing. Been eating here about once every two weeks for years, we almost always get their 咖喱牛腩 and 扬州炒饭 and one other dish. I love mixing the first two together. The food is great and I never get tired of it, and the people are friendly. Portions are normal sized for lunch, but if you go for dinner the portions are massive so come on a very empty stomach and you will be satisfied.
Happy to have such delicious dishes here. My whole family love their tastes here.
Warm and cozy...went for my buddies birthday lunch and really enjoyed the food...
Fair prices.
I found this restaurant on a list of best restaurants for dim sum in Vancouver. It did not disappoint! All of the dishes we had were flavorful and fresh! We enjoyed every bite! It was a perfect lunch after a quick exploration of nearby Lynn Canyon. I definitely recommend Jade Garden Kitchen!
Good food, excellent service, great prices. Lots of lunch specials. It’s my favourite, close by Chinese Restaurant. Staff is great.
We eat here every Friday and it is one of my favourite places to eat. Great food and very friendly service. Please support local business. Eat in or take out available!
My favourite Chinese restaurant in the lower mainland. Friendly service. Delicious Chinese food with wide menu. Some traditional chinese and some westernized. Staff willing to guide you if you're unsure.
I took home a beef noodle soup with the smallest amount of barely cooked rotten looking beef. Tasted like it looked. No vegetables. Overpriced.
Not many choices for Chinese on the North Shore. Value and quality is ok, but you can get much better if you are willing to cross the bridge into Vancouver or Burnaby.
Yum! Great place to go for both native eaters and first time Chinese food tryers alike.Big portions, reasonable prices. Would recommend.
Good quality Cantonese style food, price point about right for this quaint style.
Dim sum is always fresh and delicious, lovely staff!
Pretty good food with good Chinese specials. Seems to be getting a little pricey though.
Cozy place good authentic food. Decent size of meals.
The staff was friendly. We showed up not long before closing, probably 45 minutes, and nobody told us or tried to rush us along. The food was really good although my friend ordered what she thought was a sticky roll and it was just a steamed bun. They were nice and didnt racially profile me by handing me a fork and knife to eat with so I struggled along the chopsticks bit o may finally be getting the hang of them. My friend told me just to use the fork that came on the serving dish but I'm not one to back down from a challenge like that so I took longer to eat than I should but I felt very accomplished.
Ordered from Jade Garden Kitchen for the first time through DoorDash and was incredibly surprised at the quality of food, packaging, and presentation. Absolutely amazing! I’ll definitely be ordering from them again soon.
Lunch time is really busy .Taste is ok . But the service was bad sometimes
Fried chicken noodles was tasty. The combos were good value for money. Place was quiet and the server was very polite.
Our family comes here regularly for dinners and the food is always good. The service can be quite slow sometimes especially during busy periods but the food comes quick.
Best simple Cantonese style restaurant in North Vancouver. It reminds me of HONs with its crispy noodle chow mein and they put this awesome, crispy, green, half moon cut vegetable in their fried rice that reminds me of Boon Ko on Fraser and other good quality Cantonese restaurants. I had some Chinese friends recommend the same one on the North Shore so I am glad it lived up to its hype. I have taken out from there and they even do the crispy noodles right in an aluminium dish with holes cut out of the cardboard to keep it crisp.
Was looking for quick chinese breakfast, but this place don't open till 11am, but it worked out as we woke up late anyhow. Found the place clean and prices were pretty good for the area of North Vancouver, And the dishes were quite large so it is good to share with a partner if you like some variety. Tasty food. I'll keep this place in my return list.
Quick and polite service. Great quality food and great tasting too. The only thing I regret was not tipping them more than I did.
Great Chinese food and hear portions. Already come here for Chinese food, service is great and the owner is such a sweet lady. Always smiles and greets you like family. Highly recommend it.
The taste and selection of food offered here is fresh and fabulous!
